PNG Study Abroad is proud to announce its successful support for five Solomon Islands students who have commenced their studies at Aviation Australia in Brisbane under the Solomon Islands Government’s fully funded scholarship program.
The students, all apprentice aircraft engineers with Solomon Airlines, are now undertaking the Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, a globally recognised qualification that meets both EASA and CASA standards.
As part of this international training initiative, PNG Study Abroad played a key role in coordinating the student visa process, English proficiency requirements, and pre-departure arrangements — ensuring a smooth transition from the Solomon Islands to Australia.
“We are honoured to assist these talented Solomon Islands engineers as they take this important step toward global certification,” said Mitsuki Sato, Managing Director of PNG Study Abroad. “This partnership reflects our commitment to empowering Pacific students with world-class education and career opportunities.”
The program not only enhances the students’ technical expertise but also contributes to the Solomon Islands’ growing aviation sector by equipping its engineers with international-level skills and experience.
PNG Study Abroad continues to strengthen its collaboration with Pacific governments and education institutions, helping students access quality training that meets industry standards and builds capacity across the region.
