PNG Study Abroad is expanding and we are hiring an energetic person who is passionate about helping students from PNG through education to join our team!
This is a part-time position based in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia. Successful applicant must be able to work hybrid mode - on-site during training period and work from home after the training.
Administration officer (Clerk private sector award 2020 - Level 2)
Characteristics
This level caters for the employees who have had sufficient experience and/or training to enable them to carry out their assigned duties under general direction. Employees at this level are responsible and accountable for their own work which is performed within established guidelines. In some situations, detailed instructions may be necessary.
This may require the employee to exercise limited judgment and initiative within the range of their skills and knowledge. The work of these employees may be subject to final checking and as required, progress checking.
An employee at this level is an employee who has completed an appropriate level of training so as to enable the employee to perform work within the scope of this level:
Review and evaluate international student applications for compliance with admission requirements
Overseas end-to-end international student admissions and enrolments processes
Ensure all processes align with regulatory requirements of the ESOS Act and the National Code
Serve as a primary point of contact for all enquiries, providing clear and accurate information regarding application requirements, fees, program, timelines, and documentations
Collect and process application forms
Ensure databases and information management systems are current and up to date
Manage applications and actively communicate with clients to meet relevant deadlines
Promote the international education, campaigns and events
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Not less than three years’ experience in an administration assistant role and possesses the skills, knowledge and experience to perform work within the scope
Basic knowledge of Australian Education system and Australian Qualification Framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with administrative work at an education provider (School, TAFE, universities) is preferred
Experience and basic knowledge of enrolment and admissions process is preferred
Team members must carry out all reasonable lawful instructions to the highest level of the team members’ skill, competence and training. Team members are not required to take on any work that is dangerous.
